David Hornik is a Founding Partner with Lobby Capital and the creator and Executive Producer of The Lobby Conference. He invests broadly in information technology companies, with a focus on enterprise applications and infrastructure software, fintech, and consumer-facing software and services. He is the author of the first Venture Capital blog, VentureBlog and first Venture Capital podcast, VentureCast. Prior to Lobby Capital, David was a General Partner at August Capital for 20 years. David teaches business and law at Harvard Law School and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

Emily Harburg, Ph.D., Co-Founder and CEO of PairUp, envisions a world where "everyone can easily access, contribute to, and benefit from the wealth of knowledge that exists within their communities."
Emily’s academic research ties together technology and social behavior, and building self-efficacy and confidence through technology. Then, she saw first-hand the challenges that come from inefficient knowledge sharing and not knowing who to turn to for help within a large organization. When the COVID pandemic hit, she saw how the workplace was "fundamentally disrupted for so many people and companies." Emily felt "it was time to use [her] training and experiences to create a new solution to help employees get better access to support."
